Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PELO RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PELO data layer compared with 6 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PELO RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PELO expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and READ show a favorable association.

BRCA, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where PELO RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
