Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PELI1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PELI1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PELI1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PELI1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
STAD and UCEC are the cancer types where PELI1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
