Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDYN RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PDYN data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PDYN RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDYN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.
UCEC, BLCA, and COAD are the cancer types where PDYN RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
