Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDYN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDYN data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PDYN Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDYN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
ACC, SCLC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PDYN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
