Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDYN-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PDYN-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher PDYN-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDYN-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and PAAD show a favorable association.

LGG, BRCA, and MESO are the cancer types where PDYN-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
