Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDXK mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDXK data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PDXK mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDXK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PDXK mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
