Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDS5B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDS5B data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher PDS5B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDS5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
OV, LIHC, and BRCA are the cancer types where PDS5B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
