Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDPN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDPN data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PDPN Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDPN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and OV show a favorable association.
UCEC and OV are the cancer types where PDPN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
