Across TCGA patient cohorts, PDLIM5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,697 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PDLIM5-associated genes across cancer lineages are TIMP3, MYL9, and MEIS3. Each is linked with PDLIM5 in more than 8 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PDLIM5-to-partner and partner-to-PDLIM5 results are reported.
