Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDIK1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PDIK1L data layer compared with 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PDIK1L RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDIK1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.
LUAD, HNSC, and KIRC are the cancer types where PDIK1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
