Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDIA5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDIA5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PDIA5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDIA5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRP, UCEC, and STAD are the cancer types where PDIA5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
