PDE8A

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE8A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PDE8A data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PDE8A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE8A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and COAD show a favorable association.

ACC, KIRC, and CESC are the cancer types where PDE8A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
