Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE6C RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PDE6C data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PDE6C RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE6C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LGG show a favorable association.
BRCA, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where PDE6C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
