Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE6C Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE6C data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PDE6C Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE6C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PDE6C Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
