Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE6A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE6A data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PDE6A mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE6A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and HNSC are the cancer types where PDE6A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
