Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE4DIP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE4DIP data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 10 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PDE4DIP mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE4DIP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where PDE4DIP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
