Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE4C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE4C data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PDE4C mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE4C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
GBM are the cancer types where PDE4C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
