Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE4A mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDE4A data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher PDE4A mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE4A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
PDAC, LUAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where PDE4A mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
