Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDE3A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PDE3A data layer compared with 9 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher PDE3A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDE3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and UVM show a favorable association.
KIRP, KIRC, and BLCA are the cancer types where PDE3A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
