Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDCL3P6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 6 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of PDCL3P6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where PDCL3P6 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types PDCL3P6 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as PAAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

BLCA, PAAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where PDCL3P6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
