Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDCD4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDCD4 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher PDCD4 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDCD4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
DLBC and UCEC are the cancer types where PDCD4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
