Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PDCD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PDCD2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PDCD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PDCD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC and UCEC are the cancer types where PDCD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
