Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCYOX1L Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCYOX1L data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher PCYOX1L Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCYOX1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where PCYOX1L Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
