Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCTP Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCTP data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PCTP Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCTP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and HNSC are the cancer types where PCTP Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
