Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCOLCE2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCOLCE2 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PCOLCE2 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCOLCE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SKCM show a favorable association.
UCEC, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PCOLCE2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
