PCNP

Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCNP RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PCNP data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher PCNP RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCNP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and KIRC show a favorable association.

UCS, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where PCNP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
