Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCLAF mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCLAF data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PCLAF mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCLAF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
UCEC are the cancer types where PCLAF mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
