Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCGF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCGF3 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher PCGF3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCGF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, UCEC, and SKCM are the cancer types where PCGF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
