Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCDHB5 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PCDHB5 data layer compared with 11 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher PCDHB5 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCDHB5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and MESO show a favorable association.

STAD, BLCA, and PAAD are the cancer types where PCDHB5 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
