Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCDHB12 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PCDHB12 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PCDHB12 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCDHB12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and OV show a favorable association.
BLCA, KIRC, and OV are the cancer types where PCDHB12 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
