Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCDHA5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCDHA5 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher PCDHA5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCDHA5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, THYM, and UCEC are the cancer types where PCDHA5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
