Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCDH9-AS3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PCDH9-AS3 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher PCDH9-AS3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCDH9-AS3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

BLCA, ACC, and LGG are the cancer types where PCDH9-AS3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
