Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCDH18 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCDH18 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher PCDH18 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCDH18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
ACC, KIRC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PCDH18 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
