Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCBP2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCBP2 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher PCBP2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCBP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
PRAD and UCEC are the cancer types where PCBP2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
