Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCBP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCBP1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher PCBP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCBP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG, HNSC, and COAD are the cancer types where PCBP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
