Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PCBD2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PCBD2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher PCBD2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PCBD2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC, BLCA, and ACC are the cancer types where PCBD2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
