Across TCGA patient cohorts, PAX8 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,094 significant associations in total. KIRP shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PAX8-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Distal convoluted tubule development, Negative regulation of somatic stem cell population maintenance, and Regulation of mesenchymal to epithelial transition involved in metanephros morphogenesis. Each is linked with PAX8 in more than 27 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PAX8-to-partner and partner-to-PAX8 results are reported.
