Across TCGA cell cohorts, PAX8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7 significant associations in total. OVARY shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PAX8-associated genes across cancer lineages are SFT2D3, ACSM2A, and PRSS48. Each is linked with PAX8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PAX8-to-partner and partner-to-PAX8 results are reported.
