Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAX5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAX5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher PAX5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAX5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC show a favorable association.
THYM, DLBC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PAX5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
