Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PARP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PARP1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 9 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PARP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PARP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LUAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where PARP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
