Across TCGA patient cohorts, PAPSS2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 19,412 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PAPSS2-associated proteins across cancer lineages are PDGFRB, DAB2_S723, and RAI14. Each is linked with PAPSS2 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PAPSS2-to-partner and partner-to-PAPSS2 results are reported.
