Across TCGA patient cohorts, PAPOLG mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,683 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PAPOLG-associated genes across cancer lineages are KRTAP9-2, RN7SL98P, and LINC02619. Each is linked with PAPOLG in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PAPOLG-to-partner and partner-to-PAPOLG results are reported.
