Across TCGA patient cohorts, PANX1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 14,316 significant associations in total. PDAC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PANX1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PLAU, H2AX, and SERPINH1. Each is linked with PANX1 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PANX1-to-partner and partner-to-PANX1 results are reported.
