Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PALMD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PALMD data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher PALMD Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PALMD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BRCA, UCEC, and THCA are the cancer types where PALMD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
