Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PALMD mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PALMD data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PALMD mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PALMD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and PDAC show a favorable association.

UCEC, CCRCC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PALMD mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
