Across TCGA patient cohorts, PALMD protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,442 significant associations in total. CCRCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PALMD-associated genes across cancer lineages are FOXM1, CDCA8, and TROAP. Each is linked with PALMD in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PALMD-to-partner and partner-to-PALMD results are reported.
