Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PALM3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PALM3 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher PALM3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PALM3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, LIHC, and CESC are the cancer types where PALM3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
