Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAIP2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAIP2B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher PAIP2B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAIP2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where PAIP2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
