Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAIP2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAIP2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher PAIP2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAIP2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

GBM, HNSC, and OV are the cancer types where PAIP2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
