Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PAFAH1B3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PAFAH1B3 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PAFAH1B3 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PAFAH1B3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC and LSCC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, HNSC, and LSCC are the cancer types where PAFAH1B3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
